In this class, students will learn how to communicate in everyday Spanish. The focus of this class is to enable students to hold simple conversations using everyday Spanish. By the end of term, students should be able to introduce themselves, ask simple questions, talk about their personal interests, order food and go shopping in Spanish. This two-hour class will be very interactive and will allow students to develop their speaking ability through conversational role-plays and interactive activities. In addition to the Spanish language, students will be introduced to various Hispanic cultures.

Ms. Sonia Miño is originally from Quito, Ecuador. Before coming to Japan to pursue her graduate studies, she worked as an accountant in several American companies. She has been teaching Spanish in Japan for more than 10 years. Ms. Miño is now teaching Financial Accounting Principles at Lakeland University Japan.
